I've heard so many good reviews about this place and i was eager to try it. Honestly, i didn't find anything special about their sushi. The only reason i ate what I ordered is because i was too hungry.
I had to sit and wait 30 minutes for every time I needed an order. Not to mention that every delivery or take away had the privilege over my orders, which took even more time. As far as I know, priority is for the customers, not takeaways, and if their business was booming, they should consider hiring more chefs.
Not even half a star.
We went there and were treated unprofessionally. The waiter seemed nonchalant about our existence. He made fun of us discretely when we asked for napkins.
Our food took too much time to get ready even though there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant.
The taste was ok, nothing special and for 31$ it honestly does not match up to the competition out there.
Personally I would not go there again, nor to any of its branches. This obviously shows that there is no monitoring on the managers on duty and that people fed up of the service industry yet stay in it anyway are free to give the restaurant a bad image.
Tried to give it another try
Again they had slow service
They don't prioritise a la carte customers
If an open sushi orders 50 pieces they don't let any of the chef begin your order until the open sushi orders are done.
It is a hectic service
The management should really think clearly about their employees tasks & Hire more if needed.
There are definitely better alternatives for "open sushi". The taste was okay, just not on par with what I'm used to when it comes to sushi. The ingredients didn't taste too fresh to me, the salmon was rather tangy, which was very disappointing.
I like it. I always go for the open sushi. The varieties they have are great, each piece has a unique taste and mix. It's a weekly destination for me, best cost effective open sushi I tried.
But sometimes it's better than other times, they need to better work the rice, make it more mouth melting.
