One of the few places that didn't get bad over time! Always has this perfect service complemented with professsional waiters and a great taste of food for those who know what to order!
A little on the overpriced side, but this can be overlooked for the experience you'll have!
And yes, great interior.
It's not a good place for food lovers.
I don't recommend it at all.
Very poor quality food, we ordered the English breakfast not related to it at all, beans cooked lebanese style.
Neither they have professional stuffs.
What I liked the most about the experience is the Victorian Decor, they put too much effort on the decor but neglected the taste of food.
We can eat good in this stylish but somehow less British decorated than its own name. The menu is faithful to the English style method of presenting specific sorts of food in each category making it easier to chose.
Atmosphere: good. Food: good. Service: very good. Prices: a bit spicy. Value for price: average.
Could be tuned up but if you are too cool and wanting your shisha (yes we are in Lebanon) then you can break all rules that a poem from William's would tell
about this restaurant.
Good food, a bit expensive, they give warm bread with a very delicious spread cheese. I recommend the pastas rich in flavor and taste. The deserts are succulent the Chocolate crepes is good light choice. The drinks whether hot or cold are great, however the cuppuchino freddo is way too sweet.
The ambiance/setting is really nice... But the menu is very poor ,lacks creativity and has nothing to do with the overall concept of the resto... Food was ok and prices are fine...all in all good experience..but NOT one of my favorite places...ino walaw sho khas el araghil bi Shakespeare!!!!!
I was reluctant to try this place after all the mixed reviews; then I thought I better have my own say....
What a great decision that was to dine here!
The waiters were always around, even as we sat in the furthest corner! They were so helpful and friendly, we even had custom made plates that were not necessarily on the menu; salmon tartare! The tea is freshly infused and poured. The take on classic platters such as their Cordon Bleu is fascinating.
Great taste, music was right on, interior decoration is cozy and warm, price is right for a night out dining experience.
The decor and concept are unique and amazing but the place is always overcrowded and the music loud so you cant enjoy your meal.
Food wise, it's going backward in terms of quality and portions are getting smaller
Came here for breakfast. Service was good. Decor beautiful. Breakfast was good. I took the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce wasn't hot. But taste was good. Overall it's a nice place for breakfast very relaxing and quiet not too crowded.
Somebody else with a bit of CLASS better manage that place!! It is a shame that such a restaurant with such a beautiful design has no food or music concept to go with!! U need an index to read the menu....shisha??? Saj??? Pizza????burger?? We were ONLY 2 couples in the place with at least a staff of 5 and we kept on going to the bar to call them to take the order, lower the sound of the music( which was really high that we barely could hear one another!!) Finally a waitress shows up out of nowhere holds our tea pot, moves it close to HER EAR and starts shaking it to HEAR if it is EMPTY!!! Not only they have NO CONCEPT or THEME but the staff is SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL and LAZY.... No wonder the place has no clients!!
