May 1, 2016 Service is declining... Too bad that this is ruining the good name this restaurant has built for itself in the downtown area. 
March 11, 2016 Great restaurant, tasty food, unique menu with a large variety to choose from. Reasonnable prices, and a calm atmosphere to compliment the whole experience. Would definitly recommend it.

May 1, 2015 Bad experience today with the service. We got our order messed up, the waiter forgot more than a plate, and even one of our orders didn't came despite asking about it more than once. The food is okay, but the service was not good at all, not to mention we were almost the only customers around at that time... 
March 1, 2015 Calm, clean, good quality food, fair prices. If they offer dessert and fruits for free as most other lebanese food, I am sure they will enjoy double digits growth and it will be a completely different game for them.

The food was tasty and presentation is good.
The service was acceptable yet no greeting at entrance and no goodbye.

August 23, 2012 Food and service are very good and up to expectations. You could definitely eat more high end Lebanese food in other expensive restaurants, but for the price you pay, Al Balad is great. One complain though is for the very small kids playground which does not make it very attractive for families...
