Last night was my daughters graduation took a special cake made specifically for the occasion which cost $300 and the restaurant totally destroyed it. They didn’t even make a little gesture at the end of the dinner. Extremely disappointing.

The food is just like any other respected fish restaurant really tasty but the prices are over the top. You pay more than 90$ per person for a regular order just for sitting in zaytouna bay.

We had a very bad experience in this restaurant. We are 6 people visiting lebanon arrived at the zaitona bay. And where asked to leave because we are not asking for dinner as we just had lunch 2 hours before in another restaurant! !!This unacceptable, not tourist friendly and very rude. I understand that it's the restaurant policy but their should be some sense of hospitality and respect to you country guests

Delicious beyond norms by expensive Creativity is Babel's signature and they deliver on their promise. Staff is experienced and pleasant, and food is fresh. They provide Lebanese food with a twist. It's an experience you must indulge in, at least once... Then you decide whether to get hooked. MH

Yes the service is probably the best in town; yes the food is excellent; and yes the 'argile' is smooth and flavorful. But if that's all you're looking for in a restaurant then don't bother going to this place because Babel is much more. There is a true sense of authenticity at Babel. Their concept is definitely 'less is more' with a twist. The seafood they place in the display fridge for guests to hand pick is one of the freshest I have seen served in the country. The food is prepared and cooked to such precision that it is better than any Mediterranean seafood cooked at home. The quality of the food served is grade A in presentation, quantity and texture. While some of the seafood dishes are international recipes, like shrimp provincial, other dishes on the menu are so authentic it seems like they were brought back to life from another era. The seaweed, the hardened olive bread, the stove-cooked salt-covered fish are just a taste of Lebanese history that gives one insight of what Byblos Canaanites and Sidonian Phoenicians used to eat from these shores. I highly recommend this place to those who enjoy raw sea flavors where every bite you take from your seafood platter takes you deeper into the belly of Poseidon.

The best service in town! Waiters are so professional and well trained. Food timing, temperature, and taste are perfect. Shisha is good. The view in zaytouna is relaxing especially at sunset. It is expensive but definitely worth it.

Very creative dishes esoecially the seafood baklawa and the shrimp fetta. Also salted fish is amazing. Trick is to avoid ordering too much to avoid the hefty bill.

One of the top lebanese restaurants in Beirut, with a nice variety of seafood and a fusion twist. You will find there many unique mezze dishes like that excellent shrimps in laban yoghurt! Be prepared though: this is to my knowledge, the most expensive lebanese restaurant around. For a complete table, you will pay like 100$ per person.
